SWRM8 low carbon steel grade for wire rods is in the Japanese standard JIS G3505-2004 .The standard JIS G3505-2004 is used for steel wire, galvanized iron steel wire and other low-carbon steel wire rod ,but does not include wire rods for welding rod-shaped wires.There are 8 grades or levels in this standard such as : SWRM6 , SWRM8 , SWRM10 , SWRM12 , SWRM15 , SWRM17 , SWRM20 , SWRM22 .

SWRM8 low carbon steel application :
SWRM8 low carbon steel wire rods is in the standard JIS G 3505:2004.This Standard specifies low carbon steel wire rods, to be used for the manufacture of the low carbon steel wire, zinc-coated low carbon steel wire, etc. However, the wire rods for core wire of electrode shall be excluded.
